A traditional full English is available each morning, made using locally sourced produce. The property can cater for, and accommodate, parties and weddings. The inn is five miles from Newbury town centre and Newbury Race Course is 5. five miles away. The Carnarvon Arms was built as a coaching inn in the 1800s. It provided a stop-off for travellers to Highclere Castle, now the setting for TV drama Downton Abbey.

Junction 13, The M4 - Road: Follow M4 to A34 in West Berkshire. Take exit 13. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto the A34 ramp to Southampton/M3/Newbury/Donnington. Keep right and merge onto A34. Take the B4640 exit toward Newtown/Burghclere. At the roundabout, take the 2nd exit. Turn right at next junction. Destination will be on the right after 0.5 miles.
